Palash has joined IOC Phinergy (IOP) as the Chief Executive Officer on January 1, 2024. IOP is a Joint Venture between Indian Oil Corporation Limited and Phinergy Limited of Israel, striving for energy independence in India through proprietary Aluminium Air Battery Solution. In his current role, Palash is responsible for leading the company’s efforts in commercializing the proprietary Aluminium Air Battery technology and its various applications and establishing the complete eco-system to support large scale adoption.

Previously, Palash co-founded and worked at SmartE between 16th August 2019 and 31st December 2023 as the Chairman and Managing Director. Under Palash’s stewardship SmartE has emerged into one of India’s largest electric vehicle ecosystem providers. With over 100M electric kilometers under its belt, SmartE today is a professionally managed organization, operates an ever-growing network of 30+ parking and charging hubs in multiple cities and offers plug and play infrastructure to leading EV fleet operators in the country. SmartE is the long-term last mile connectivity partner to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation.

Prior to joining SmartE, Palash spent 18 years with United Technologies Corporation (A DOW 30 Industrial Conglomerate - UTX) in various leadership roles of increasing responsibility in the areas of supply chain, program management, operations, and general management. Since 2011 till immediately prior to joining SmartE, Palash was the Managing Director for UTC India and Pratt & Whitney India. In this role, Palash was responsible for P&W’s growth in India including developing, coordinating and implementing business strategies, new business development, government/industry relations, aftermarket support and talent management.

Palash holds an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Mangalore University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Michigan State University. He has also attended UTC’s leadership program at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.

Palash works closely with leading industry bodies and various state governments on diverse topics of social impact such as environmental sustainability, smart cities, last mile connectivity, food security and waste management. He is the recipient of numerous industry awards and is often covered in the media for his thought leadership. He was recently recognized amongst the Top100 Leaders driving the EV ecosystem in India.

With over 26 years of extensive experience in the telecom sector, Amit stands as a seasoned leader, driving business growth and innovation in an ever-evolving industry. 

Amit began his journey in telecom in 1997, witnessing firsthand the industry's rapid evolution from basic telephony to the sophisticated digital networks of today. His deep understanding of both the technical and commercial aspects of the business has enabled him to lead cross-functional teams, optimize operations, and deliver exceptional results.

As a Head of Stationary Business in IOP, Amit has been instrumental in scaling businesses, launching new products, and entering new markets. His strategic vision and customer-centric approach have not only driven revenue growth but also enhanced customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Amit is passionate about technology and innovation, always staying ahead of industry trends and exploring new ways to leverage emerging technologies for business advantage. He is a strong advocate for digital transformation and has successfully led several initiatives to modernize and future-proof telecom operations.

Birbal Kumar Lakhara a Graduate in Psychology Honours & Postgraduate in Management (MBA) from University of Rajasthan has nearly two decades of rich and comprehensive experience in Human Resource Management. Birbal has joined the IOC Phinergy (IOP) as Head-Human Resources. He is an accomplished HR professional with extensive experience in HR Management viz Strategic HR, Manpower Planning & Budgeting , Recruitment & Selection, HR Operations, Performance Management, Compensation & Benefit (C&B), Competencies & Skill Mapping, Succession planning, Employee Engagement, Employment Laws & Statutory Compliances, Contract Labour Management and managing industrial relations and liaison work.

Birbal has diverse industry exposure to Heavy Engineering, Construction, Infrastructures, Telecom & Power sector companies and have successfully managed the HR Operations at various esteemed organization. Previously Birbal was heading the HR function with Hindustan Power Exchange (HPX) wherein he has setup the HR function from a scratch in a start-up environment. Prior joining to Hindustan Power Exchange Mr. Birbal has worked with GMR Group, American Tower Corporation(ATC), Larsen & Toubro (L&T), Simplex Infrastructures Limited etc.

Birbal is a certified POSH Trainer and also an Internal Complaint Committee Member under the POSH Act.

Qualified Chartered Accountant and a commerce graduate from SRCC, Delhi University. Since October 2006, he has been working with Indian Oil Corporation Limited, leading Energy Company of India.

He is a results-driven Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in diverse financial functions within the energy sector. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated expertise in project finance, product pricing, taxation, procurement, management information systems (MIS) and internal audit throughout various divisions & locations of energy giant viz Refineries, Business Development, Research & Development, Marketing.

Currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer and responsible for driving financial strategy, risk management, performance optimization and leading financial operations to support the company's growth and expansion in the alternate energy sector.

Gaurav joined IOP as the AVP Operations in January 2022. He is responsible for technology transfer, localisation, research and development activities in his current role.
Prior to joining IOP, Gaurav spent 12 years with Indian Oil Corporation Limited and has first-hand experience of operations of cross-country pipelines, project execution, tendering, and design & detailed engineering of pipeline projects.
Gaurav holds an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.

Sharad is techno-commercial professional with over 17 years of experience in procurement and strategic sourcing in Telecom and Manufacturing sector & have extensive exposure in value engineering, optimization of supply chain processes, drive innovation & productivity leading to enhanced efficiency.
He has done his Bachelor of Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Surathkal and completed his Master of Business Administration from College of Material Management. 
Sharad has joined IOC Phinergy as Supply Chian Head and will be spearheading sourcing activity for setting domestic supply chain for Metal-Air Technology enabled batteries.

With over 20 years of experience in operations and administration, Kuldeep Raina has built a robust career managing complex projects and leading teams to success with extensive experience in administration and operations management across various industries. His career spans over two decades, during which he has demonstrated expertise in managing large teams, overseeing complex projects, and ensuring the smooth functioning of operations at both factory and corporate levels., Has also been instrumental in infrastructure development and maintenance, working closely with government agencies and external partners to ensure seamless operations.
 

Manjul, is the Company Secretary of the Company having over 10 years of extensive experience in Legal and Secretarial Compliances (CS & Legal). He is a Fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) also holding a bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) and additionally he is a commerce graduate.
He has worked with prominent corporate houses in India, including SLCM Group, Seven Seas Group and RLL Group. His expertise spans across various domains such as Corporate Law, Funding Rounds through Private Equity Funds and handling Shareholders Agreement related compliances, NBFC Non-Deposit Compliances, Due Diligence during IPO Process and Contract Management. 
He is well-versed in handling Corporate Compliances, RBI compliances, Entire group CSR compliances, liasoning with different department like Fire, Pollution, Factory Act, FSSAI and their compliances and NOC’s thereof.
